16% increase in summer 2009 enrolment

Summer 2009 is indeed sunny for the University of Bohol for, as of press time, it registered a 16% increase in enrolment. This information was relayed by the university registrar Leah Tirol-Magno. Magno further informs that the percentage of enrollment increase will still go up as more students in the Professional Studies department are set to enroll early next week. The big bulk of increase is registered at the department of Professional Studies of which increase is believed to be due to the newly innovated programs using the “Blended Learning” approach.

In related developments, enrolment at the University of Bohol will start on May 4, 2009 for college and graduate programs. Enrollment at the Day High School, High School Evening Session, UB Grade School and the Victoriano D. Tirol – Advanced Learning Center (VDT-ALC) pre-school, elementary and high school, is now going on. Classes for all levels will start on June 8, 2009.
