UBSSG treats students with a red carpet welcome


The University of Bohol Supreme Student Government (UBSSG) in coordination with the Student Affairs Office and Student Personnel Services, held recently a short program and activity welcoming students of the university during the opening of classes last June 6, 2011.

Edison Delantero, UBSSG president- elect, together with the other officials of the student government personally escorted the new students to their buildings and rooms and oriented them with the school facilities and amenities. The UBSSG also conducted free t-shirt printing and distributed free sim cards, ballpens and other freebies to the new enrollees.

In an interview, Delantero disclosed that the activity is part of the organization’s thrust in establishing strong camaraderie among students and in working harmoniously with the school administration. The whole UBSSG officialdom is slated to be inducted this coming June 24, 2011 in time of the general acquaintance at the university quadrangle.
