UB gets PAASCU re-accreditation

The Philippine Accrediting Association of Schools, Colleges and Universities (PAASCU), accredited anew the Elementary and Secondary Education programs of the University of Bohol College of Education.

Dr. Lumin T. Pamaran, vice-president for academics, confirmed the latest development through a formal communication sent by the PAASCU Board to UB President Victoriano B. Tirol, Jr., informing the university for a two year re-accreditation in Level II of its education programs which is valid until November 2013. To note, in the latest Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET), the UB College of Education garnered 83% passing average of her examinees in Bachelor in Elementary Education (BEED) and 73% passing rate in Bachelor in Secondary Education (BSED).

As of school year 2011-2012. The education department offers, BEED - SPED, General Course, PreElem, and BSEED - English, Math, Physical Science, Filipino, Social Studies, MAPEH. (L.A.Boncales)
