Lawyer Nuevas Tirol-Montes, former vice mayor of the City of Tagbilaran, and incumbent vice president for administration of the University of Bohol, lead the non-academic personnel in a community outreach activity through mangrove planting at Maribojoc last September 17, 2008.A total of six hundred propagules were planted by the group near the Maribojoc port to help the LGU rehabilitate its mangroves .The activity is in line with the celebration of the UB Days and is part of the community extension services of the school. Others in attendance were Leah Tirol- Magno, school registrar, Gina Lopena, community extension services officer, Leo Boncales, public relations officer, Gody Bigcal, property custodian, Edgar Belarmino, procurement officer and other department heads and employees.
